Abortion Victims
2016

Publication and an interactive installation mapping out 3 controversial cases of abortion in countries where it is delegalised.

The project aimed to raise the question of 'Who is the real victim?'. Poland, Ireland and El Salvador are few of many countries that legally prohibit abortion. Some of them have unclear laws, others are very certain on the way they see it as a severe crime. Very often the cultural influence of dominant religion is what shapes these laws. The publication explores the legal and procedural reality of what harm it can cause to women and their whole families.
